Normally we install our very own Windows OS through a bootable CD/DVD on our PCs, however today I am gonna show you how you can do the same thing via bootable USB drive since it proves to be of great help for those systems which don't have a working CD or DVD drives.
The steps are as follows:
a) You require an ISO image of Windows 8 (don't know how to create one? well you can check the steps for these too by Clicking Here).
b) Download Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool and install it (Don't worry it works with Windows 8 ISOs as well).
Download link: http://wudt.codeplex.com/
c) After installing> Run the application> Locate and give the path of ISO file in your PC.
d) Select USB device option > Then browse & select the pendrive you wish to make bootable(make sure that it has at least 4GB of free space)> Click on Begin Copying.
e) Once the copying begins, the tool will start creating a bootable Windows 8 USB installer flash drive using Windows 8 ISO> When this message appears "Bootable USB Device created successfully", you can restart your PC and boot from your USB drive.
I hope it was helpful, please share your comments and other tips or tricks if any to help others.
Any questions please feel free to ask, thanks.
